BB2013DE12

This is certainly not how we wanted to finish up 2012.

We are announcing a recall on a small number of Kinnikinnick Pie Crusts (frozen) that have been distributed in the US & Canada over the last month. The following is the text of the alert.

If you don't have a problem with eggs, is this product still safe?
Yes, the pie crusts have always had eggs.  The issue with this recall is that the label applied to the old boxes does not correctly indicate the presence of eggs. If you are not allergic to eggs, the pie crusts are perfectly safe.

As a company that is focused on food safety we appreciate the importance of accurate labeling information. Internal controls have been changed to ensure that a labeling problem such as this cannot occur again.
